This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the AdSenseCheck readiness assessment, and how it is handled. We aim to keep this explanation plain and accurate rather than using generic boilerplate.

Information Entered Into the Checker

The answers you select in the multi-step questionnaire (for example, "Yes," "No," or "Not sure" responses) are processed entirely within your own browser using JavaScript to calculate a readiness score. These answers are not transmitted to us, to Google, or to any third party as part of using the checker.

Website URL Field

The optional website URL field is provided purely for your own reference during the session. The tool does not scan, crawl, fetch, or analyze the URL you enter, and the value is not sent to a server.

Browser-Based Processing

All scoring logic, category breakdowns, and recommendations are generated using client-side JavaScript that runs on your device. No backend server, database, or API is involved in producing your results.

Local Storage

If your browser supports it, this site may save your in-progress answers using your browser's built-in localStorage so you can continue later without retyping everything. This data stays on your device, is not accessible to us, and can be removed at any time using the "Clear saved data" option shown in the tool or by clearing your browser's site data.

Cookies

This site does not set its own tracking cookies as part of the checker functionality. If cookies are used by hosting infrastructure or any third-party service described below, they would be governed by that provider's own policy.

Analytics

If analytics software is added to this site in the future to understand aggregate visitor trends, it will be disclosed here along with the provider used and the type of data collected. As shipped, this tool does not include analytics tracking.

Advertising

If advertising is displayed on this site, it may be served by third-party advertising providers who could use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own privacy policies. This checker itself does not require advertising to function.

Third-Party Services

This tool is built with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and does not call any third-party API or service to produce your results. If any third-party service is integrated in the future, this policy will be updated to describe it.

Server Logs

Like most websites, the server or hosting platform that delivers these files to your browser may automatically record standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and operational purposes. We do not control or access this data beyond what our hosting provider makes available.

Data Security

Because assessment answers are processed locally rather than transmitted to a server, there is no central database of user answers to secure or that could be exposed in a breach. We nonetheless encourage using an up-to-date browser and standard safe browsing practices.

Children's Privacy

This tool is intended for website owners, bloggers, and publishers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

User Rights

Since assessment data is stored locally in your own browser rather than on our servers, you control that data directly — you can clear it at any time using the in-tool option or your browser's settings. If you contact us with a privacy question, we will respond to the extent reasonably possible given that we do not hold your assessment data ourselves.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the tool or applicable practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
