What QRSmith does
QRSmith is a web-based QR code generator. Why we built it

QRSmith is built around the opposite idea — a clean, single-purpose page that does one thing well and gets out of the way.
How it works, in plain terms
When you click "Generate QR code," your browser encodes the text you entered directly into a QR code pattern using JavaScript running on your own device. The image is then drawn to your screen for preview and, if you choose, saved to your device as a PNG file. Your input is not transmitted to a server as part of this process.
